Journal 1867-1869.

The journal is in four parts: Reliance's trip from Baltimore to San Francisco, 1867-68; Reliance while on her station from San Francisco to San Diego, 1868; "Log of the Reliance from San Francisco to Sitka," 1868; and journal of the Lincoln, 1869. The maps show the routes from Baltimore to California, from San Francisco to Sitka, and trips around Sitka Sound and Cape Edgecombe. There is a pencil sketch of Kodiak, Alaska by Benjamin Woche.
